Mr. Brandenburg is a Spokesman for Technology Policy, Member of the committee for Education, Research and Technology Assessment, Member of the enquete committee concerning „Artificial Intelligence, Deputy Member of the committee Digital Agenda. After finishing his A-Levels at a College of Information Technology in Bad Bergzabern, Mr. Brandenburg travelled around the world. More specifically, he worked and lived in Australia and the United States. As an optimistic and outgoing person, he enjoyed working in different positions and easily adapted to different cultures and circumstances. Mario Brandenburg has always been drawn towards economy and information systems. Therefore, he decided to study Business Information Systems. In 2010 and as a student, he joined the Free Democratic Party. The FDP was the best party as it reflected Mario’s personal values of being free, forward-thinking and critical. In 2013, Mr. Brandenburg successfully completed the Master of Science in Business Information Systems. During his studies, Mr. Brandenburg was recruited by Europe’s largest software multinational SAP. In various positions at SAP, he was able to put his technical IT-skills into practice and combine these with his intercultural competences. He was responsible for several markets across different continents. Since 2017, Mr. Brandenburg has been a member of the German parliament and has started his new mission in supporting Germany on its way to thrive digitally.
