Lydia Hertel applies her passion for technology and sustainability as Project and Business Development Manager at Cloud&Heat Technologies, a cloud provider focused on sustainable and secure cloud and data center solutions for AI.
One of the many projects she is driving is the partnership with Vattenfall to jointly establish a sustainable AI data center in Sweden. Aside from that, Lydia engages as head of the infrastructure working group of the LEAM initiative to deploy Large European AI Models and build a competitive European AI ecosystem. She is also actively involved in the working group “Climate Change”, organized by the German AI Association.
Prior to joining Cloud&Heat Technologies, Lydia held a position in management and technology consulting to stabilize and improve the IT infrastructure of automotive OEMs. She holds a Diploma in Industrial Engineering of the Dresden University of Technology.
