Dr. Steffen Wachenfeld is a digital native. He has grown up with Z80-processors, monochrome monitors and daisy wheel printers. Steffen has been closely following the trends in technological development since the early 80s. He is an internationally acclaimed expert and speaker on the topics of ‘Big Data’, ‘Pattern Recognition’ and ‘Machine Learning’. Steffen has worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as consultant and founded four successful tech businesses. He is currently working as Chief Product Officer in the area of data-driven AdTech, where he applies the principles of machine learning to make real-time mobile advertising decisions. Steffen holds two Master’s degrees in Information Systems/Computer Science, a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and worked as post-doc in Data Analysis and Pattern Recognition at the University of Pennsylvania. Besides AdTech and product development, his current areas of interest are Virtual Reality, Blockchain & Crypto Currencies, and Artificial Intelligence.
