Dr. Sarah J. Becker

Dr. Sarah J. Becker is a partner at Deloitte and Lead for Digital & AI Ethics. For more than 15 years, she supports DAX-listed companies, family businesses, non-profit organizations and public institutions in the German and US markets in their digital transformation. She is an expert for strategies and programs for operationalizing digital ethics and CDR. Besides, Dr. Becker teaches at the Witten/ Herdecke University and advocates for trustworthy digitalization through her committee work and as co-leader of the Working Group “Digitale Ethik” of the Initiative D21. Until joining Deloitte, Dr. Becker has played a key role in shaping digital ethical practices and processes at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, as an inaugural member of their renowned Digital Ethics Advisory Panel.
