Ben Blume

Ben is a Principal at Atomico, where he focuses on enterprise software and SaaS companies, with a particular interest in companies selling software powered by deep technologies including machine intelligence and advanced analytics. He also spends time looking at developer tools and infrastructure, and new and emerging technology developments including in the Internet of Things and robotics. Ben has been involved in investments into or works closely with Atomico portfolio companies including Oden, CloudNC, Graphcore, Scandit, Streetbees and EVRYTHNG, and sits on the boards of Automation Hero, Hinge Health and Bitmovin. Prior to joining Atomico in 2013, Ben was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, and spent time at Bank of America developing information systems for traders. Ben holds a first class BA in Computer Science from Cambridge University and has recently taken Machine Learning on courses on Coursera.
