MSc. Daiane Piva

Ms. Piva is a consultant at Tata Steel Europe and country expert on digitalization. She co-leads an international task on digitalization for energy efficiency and GHG emissions reductions in process industries together with the Polytechnique Montreal University under the IEA IETS and manages continuous improvement projects at Tata Steel. Ms. Piva is currently responsible for the department's digital strategy and leads projects and research topics related to smart meters, predictive and prescriptive analytics, among others. Besides, she volunteers at the Tata Steel Advanced Analytics Center of Expertise by teaching lessons on introduction to AI, machine learning, neural networks and optimization techniques which is an internal training where employees can gain certification as AA translators, data scientists, and data engineers.
