Damian Boeselager is a newly-elected Member of the European Parliament. Together with an Italian and a French, Damian co-founded Volt, a movement that is active in all European countries and ran for the EP elections in 2019 in 8 countries with one party program.
In the European Parliament, Damian focuses on creating a real European parliamentary democracy, creating the framework for a competitive and innovative European economy, establishing paths for legal migration, setting up a common, fair and fast European asylum system, and ensuring that the EU works for all via budgetary stability measures. In the ITRE (Industry, Technology, Research and Energy) Committee he focusses on digital / AI regulation.
He holds degrees in Philosophy & Economics from University of Bayreuth and a dual-Master in Public Administration from the Hertie School of Governance and Columbia University’s SIPA in New York City. Prior to founding Volt he worked as consultant in a leading international consultancy.
