I’m a proud multipotentialite with a passion for exploring various fields. My journey began with a degree in engineering, followed by valuable experience working in the industry across manufacturing, food, health & safety, and energy management. After gaining insights from the real world, I pursued a PhD in data analysis and then completed a post-doc in AI. Following my academic pursuits, I transitioned back into industry at a software company before returning to academia as the managing director at the AI Center at RWTH Aachen University. In this role, I combine technical and organisational expertise with strategic leadership to help transform RWTH and the Aachen region into a thriving AI hub. I love engaging with everyone from politicians to students, adjusting the content to my audience, breaking down complex topics into simple terms and fostering genuine connections. In addition to my work, I’m passionate about volunteering for initiatives that support women and am currently serving as the city lead for Women in AI Aachen. Speaking at events—from scientific and industrial conferences to workshops for young minds—is something I truly enjoy because sharing knowledge is key to inspiring future generations!
