Dr. Anna Gründler is Director of Business Development at deepset, makers of Haystack, where she leads strategic initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, business applications, and the public sector. As an expert in Sovereign AI, she supports organizations in developing and implementing impactful use cases. She is teaching “Introduction to Data Science” at ESB Reutlingen.
She brings extensive experience from both research and industry, with a focus on AI-driven information processing, natural language processing (NLP), and innovation in enterprise contexts. Prior to joining deepset, Anna worked in consulting and technology roles, including at McKinsey & Company and Fraunhofer FIT, and was responsible for risk management in offshore wind projects at EnBW.
Anna studied Finance and Information Management, with academic experience at TU Munich and NHH Bergen. She holds a PhD from the University of Düsseldorf, specializing in crisis management and innovation.
