With a background in the Life Sciences I am convinced that research and market-oriented development are addressing humanity’s biggest challenges. They have shaped today’s world and will continue to drive the future of mankind. Creating excellent spaces and ecosystems for scientific research and technology transfer will become even more dominant in the years to come.
As the challenges are getting more complex and connected, scientists as well as companies are increasingly working trans-disciplinary and across (regional) borders. AI, Big Data Management, robotics / automation, and web-based platforms thankfully enable novel forms of co-operation urgently needed.
My goal is to actively bridge academia and profit-oriented industry. I am excited to create networks and platforms as well as physical spaces and outstanding locations. I am happy to achieve my goal together with like-minded people from around the world and in diverse settings. I am used to mediating the motivations of the key stakeholders of the quadruple helix: science, industry, government, and citizens. I am eager to learn and try out things and strategies and look forward to getting new impulses – from you!
