Communications Manager | TÜV AI.Lab

I am currently the Communications Manager at TÜV AI.Lab, where I focus on translating our work around AI governance and regulatory frameworks into clear, engaging narratives. My role bridges the gap between technical expertise and public understanding, highlighting how trustworthy AI can drive innovation and ensure safe technological progress.

With a foundation in freelance journalism, I transitioned into policy research through a degree in political science at the University of Bonn and a part-time role at the German Institute for Development and Sustainability (IDOS), where I deepened my interest in Africa-EU relations.

Before joining TÜV AI.Lab, I worked at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) on the Megatrends Afrika project, where I combined my journalism skills with research on topics such as conflict dynamics, digital politics, and hybrid threats. This experience sharpened my ability to communicate complex geopolitical issues to diverse audiences, with a focus on the practical application of research findings.

My approach is pragmatic, aiming to connect expert insights with broader audiences. I value the exchange of ideas on strategic communication, the integration of scientific analysis with impact-driven outcomes, and the role of clear messaging in policy environments.

I look forward to connecting with individuals interested in the intersection of technology, policy, and strategic communication, particularly those focused on AI governance, digital transformation, and disinformation resilience.
