I’m Lennart Paul Phillipp Gaida, Director Ecosystem at Impossible Cloud. I build partner ecosystems that turn product capability into adoption and partner-led ARR — especially by embedding cloud infrastructure into products, bundles, and marketplaces. Proof points I’m proud of: I’ve helped take our ecosystem from 0 → thousands of partners, and from 0 → integrations across the leading backup vendors (and beyond). That “operator DNA” (commercial engine + solutions, pre-sales/compliance/partner success) is how I run ecosystems: tight execution, clear value, measurable outcomes. Two topics define most of my conversations right now: AI and sovereignty. Here is my take: – AI is data-bound. If your economics depend on moving data around (egress, checkpoint syncing, dataset shuffling), you’re already losing. The shift is obvious: compute moves to where the data lives — which is why I care so much about storage-native architectures and integrated AI infrastructure. – Sovereignty is not a checkbox. Residency is where data is stored. Sovereignty is who can control and use it. If your “sovereign” cloud relies on compliance labels while ignoring jurisdiction, operational access paths, and technical enforceability, that’s sovereignty washing. I hold a PhD from the University of Bremen and a double Master degree in Strategy, Organisation & Leadership from Copenhagen Business School combined with the CEMS Master in Management from ESADE Business School. If you’re building partner ecosystems, technical alliances, or a sovereign cloud strategy (especially with AI workloads in mind) — let’s connect.
